Italian Balsamic Vinegar

Italian Balsamic vinegar set the stage for a marvelous meal. Italy is the home to the most exquisite oils and vinegars in the world. The different varieties of aging give these products superb versatility that can range from everyday cooking to special occasions!

There are two version of balsamic vinegar: the original, costly, traditional balsamic vinegar (Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale), PDO is made from a reduction of cooked white Trebbiano grape juice.

It has been produced in Modena and Reggio Emilia since the Middle Ages. The second one, also original from the same area, the GPI, is less expensive but really tasty.
