Candied Colombawith exquisite puglian almond pasta and perfumed semi-candied cubes of Sicilian lemon. The choice of almond paste, or royal paste, is the result of a careful search for the most characteristic flavors of Italian gastronomic culture, aimed at offering new reinterpretations of our rich and varied confectionery tradition.  Its sweetness is combined in a pleasant and original way with the acidulous note of Sicilian lemon: semi-candied peels and lemon paste are combined with almond paste and pieces of fine white chocolate, creating a surprising balance. The almond icing is finely decorated with sweet caramelized meringue nuggets, giving a crisp crunchiness and an irresistible play of contrasts with the soft dough.
