Greek salad is a dish of Greek culinary tradition; It consists of: green salad, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, olives, and feta, a typical local cheese.
The Greek salad is perfect for accompanying a second dish, or as a unique dish.
- 200 g of Feta cheese
- 150 g of Iceberg lettuce
- 8 Greek Black Olives
- 1 red onions
- 2 cucumbers
- 2 small tomatoes
- Extra virgin olive oil
First wash the iceberg salad, dry it and cut it. Continue with cucumbers: wash them, peel them and slices them. Then peel, wash thin the onion, wash the tomatoes and cut them into quarters. At this point, take the feta and cut it into cubes.
In a large bowl place, the salad and the cucumbers as the first thing. Then add the onions, tomatoes and Greek black olives dripped. Finally add the feta, the oregano, and the oil.
If you like, you can also add some Balsamic Vinegar.
