Discover the territory of Modena, deepen the stories and characters related to the tradition of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP and the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP and taste its authentic taste: this and much more is Acetaie Aperte 2018, the appointment end of September with the black gold of Modena.

The event is organized by the Consortium for the Protection of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and by the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar Consortium of Modena PDO: the aim is to promote, by involving the public of foodie, the culture of this precious food, with a centuries-old history.

The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI and the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PDO are a point of reference among all the Geographical Indications of the Italian panorama. Part of the tradition of the territory and not only, balsamic vinegar is now identified with hundreds of producers, from the small family to large companies. Moreover, it represents a strategic sector for the development of the whole Modena area, not only from an economic point of view but also social and cultural, for those who live this land daily but also for those who come to visit you.

For this new edition, the Balsamic Vinegar will become the main protagonist of real cocktails, which the bartenders of the Mixology Association will prepare live on September 30th. The use in modern mixology products gives the Balsamic Vinegar a new identity: what is obtained is an original combination of the precious product, which becomes an ingredient of an unusual beverage. Equally interesting and curious will be to discover how the Balsamic Vinegar is paired with local products and used in the kitchen.

In each Acetaia, visitors can taste balsamic vinegar with typical local products and, in some of them, in the afternoon of Sunday 30 September will be present the chefs of Modena a Tavola, who will entertain the present with interesting show cooking on the use of the precious seasoning.
