In 1899 Marcellino Mutti and his brother Callisto created the Mutti company. From family farming, their tradition began to move towards manufacturing, while still using their artisanal methods. At this time the industry started to rise.
In the 1950s the Mutti brothers took a large test when they agreed to try and sell their paste in an alluminum tube. This was a major revolution for preserving food and for the money that would be saved for families all over.
Today, the Mutti brothers successful company is on steady ground and continues to grow and create year after year. In the past years, they have released ready-made sauces, and joined with WWF Italy to measure environmental impact.
