We select and package the best mushroom slices with cream white and yellow cap and stem sections. They are gently picked at source by our gatherers and controlled by our expert mycologists. Porcini mushrooms are cleaned, sliced, dried and then packaged by hand. We suggest to use them, seasoned as you prefer, to enrich the flavor of risotto and pasta dishes.
The product must be rehydrated and cooked before eating. To preserve them the best, store in a cool, dry place and avoid moisture and direct sunlight. Once the package is open, if you don’t use all the products, place the mushrooms in a tightly closed container and keep them in the freezer for longer periods. The product will maintain its best qualities if consumed before the date indicated on the package.
How to cook them
Rinse the mushrooms in warm water for 20 minutes before use. They will be ready to be used when they will be softened. The mushrooms are carefully cleaned before being dried, however, they may contain traces of dirt or other contaminants, eventually, make sure to remove them before cooking.
