Discover Bio-Organic

In the last few years, the attention to health and wellbeing has increased, and we have also focused on how much and how foods affect our health. Biological agriculture has been slowly developing, which, unlike the conventional one, prevents the use of pesticides and herbicides produced in the laboratory. In fact, it uses the natural fertility of the cultivated soil, respecting the environment and all its forms of life.
The International Federation of Organic Agriculture (IFOAM) has been set up to achieve certain objectives:
• Transforming companies into a self-sufficient farming system using only local resources;
• Safeguard the natural fertility of the soil;
• Avoid any form of pollution like chemical components;
• Produce high-quality nutritious foods in sufficient quantity
In Italy, there is another institution for safeguarding and controlling bio-organic crops. AIAB (Italian Association for Organic Farming) was founded in Turin, Piedmont in 1988, and has always acted as an intermediary between those producers, technicians, and consumers who care about the environment. Bio-Organic farming is the only form of controlled agriculture under European and national laws, thanks to the rules of a uniform control system throughout the European Union. A European logo was then established and a stylized leaf on a green background was drawn.

Bio-Organic farming, therefore, cares for the well-being of the soil, the ecosystem, and the people. In the next years, everybody will increasingly seek to reduce the negative impacts on human health and on the environment, avoiding over-exploitation of natural resources and, above all, trying to create a development model that can last over time.
